Binance to Experiment with Travel Rewards Card in 2020 ...

Reminder from previous bull markets

Usually, bull markets attract a lot of new investors - although speculators should be the right word here - and as usual, a lot of them are going to be crushed a way or another.
First, before putting a single dollar, euro or whatever in the market, you should read a lot to know exactly what you're looking for.
Are you here for the tech and/or the cypherpunk ethos ? Great, there's lot of resources out there (my links are cleaned but as always, do your due diligence) :
Now, you've read and you want to put some skin in the game. Several exchanges are acceptable, a lot of aren't, be careful and assume that none really are (know that I won't post any ref links) :
This was for centralized exchanges aka CEX. Talking about custodial, you'll need wallets to store your (bit)coins. Always try to use non-custodial wallets, which means wallets that give you your private keys. This way, if the software goes down, you can always retreive your money. Now, I won't link to all the existing wallets but will advise you to buy hardware wallets (trezor or ledger but there are others) or to create (on off-gap computers) paper wallets you're able to store safely (against all risks, not only robbery but housefire). You also could use your memory with brain wallets but, my gosh, I wouldn't trust myself. For Bitcoin (or even Litecoin), Electrum software can do a good job (but save your keys).
AGAIN, DON'T KEEP YOUR SAVINGS ON AN EXCHANGE
Now, about trading : it's been repeated and repeated but don't chase pumps and altcoins. Yep, it's probably the fastest way to make money. It's also the fastest to lose it. I won't lie : I made good money during the 2017-bullrun and I took profits but I also forgot to sell some shitcoins thinking it would keep going up, now I'm still holding these bags (although I don't really care). I know that a lot forgot to take profits. Take profits, always take profits, whatever your strategy is. Don't fall for people trying to sell you their bags, for ICOs trying to sell you a product which isn't released yet and obviously, don't fall for people asking for your private key.
Also, know that there's two endgames : accumulating bitcoin or fiat. I'm rather in the first team but whatever your strategy is, take profits. (Yes, I know, some will say accumulating ethereum or something else). It's true that a lot of ethereum holders made a lot of money during the last bullrun (ethereum helped me make money too) but I'm really biased in favor of bitcoin (and monero). So, pick your coin but again, do your due diligence.
A lot of people here or there will talk about the best tech, the fact that bitcoin is old and slow. I would need another post to go further on this point but know that a lof of air flight systems are old too but reliable. Trustless and reliable is the point here.
This is the post from someone who bought bitcoin seven or six years ago, who lost part of them, who spent part of them (but don't regret this at all), who is still learning and I hope it will help others, although it would need a book to be complete.

Weekly Wrap 03/04

Market News
In the earlier part of the week, Bitcoin broke down to the $5800 level but managed to successfully close back above $6400. As expected, we eventually saw a move to the $7200 level that was followed by a swift rejection. Recent CME data released indicates that large-sized traders doubled down on their 2020 short positions between $8200 and $10,700. We are thus expecting the $8000 region to act as a large resistance level in the future.
In a new report, Binance Research found a ‘moderate’ positive correlation between Bitcoin and US equities during the first quarter of 2020, with neither being correlated to gold. Amongst their findings was the conclusion that despite Bitcoin displaying a positive correlation with US equities, this correlation coefficient remains unlikely to persist in the medium to long term as it was merely a result of global investors' flight to liquidity across all asset classes in the wake of COVID-19. This is positive news for investors who continue to use cryptoasset investments for diversification purposes.
Global markets are also up following Trump’s comments that crude oil production will likely be cut back. The announcement sent Brent crude levels up by over 25%. The move comes as oil was already climbing after Beijing instructed government agencies to start buying cheap crude for its strategic reserves.

NEO LIVE - Week 1 Featuring Travala.com AMA summary.

Travala.com / $AVA was the first project to participate in the Weekly "NEO LIVE" Event being run by the NEO Global development:
https://neonewstoday.com/events/neo-live-telegram-series-to-feature-ecosystem-projects-in-weekly-event/
I have gone through and cleaned up the Telegram chat and formatted the questions to make them more readable. Due to the fast moving chat some questions got mixed up a little but i've done my best to remove spam/ emojis and make it readable.
The full archive can be found on the NEO Telegram: @NEO_EN
Introduction:
Host, NGD :
Hi Matt, first question, when is Travala coming to Binance if at all any plans ?
Should we be expecting 15 suppliers integration by Aug 15th?
Why should I use Travala instead of Orbitz or other popular travel sites?
Hi Matt, when the beta version goes live, travala can expect an Increase of booking numbers I think. Are you considering to hire more people for costumers service before or around that time?
** Due to fast moving chat this question got messed up. The team later commented the following regarding this question:
What are benefit of Travala token holder ???
Is the ava token able to be purchased directly on the Travala website? Or will a third party have to handle this? Is there a fiat gateway plan? Will Nash handle this?
First of all congratulations matt for your crowdfunding on crowdcube my question is when we see travala application on both platform means app is more easy and user friendly as comapre to website so any approximately time frame ?
Will you list travala at some point at kayak or is this plan cancelled?
what's your vision for travala by end of 2020 and beyond?
Hello Matt! Could you tell about your goals in the future in terms of market share? Do you see having 0.1-1% of Market share of current giants like Booking.com, Hotels.com as a realistic goal?
Along with the August update, will search improvements be also in place, so its easily to locate countries, etc, currently difficult to find all places in the Maldives for example, which we will need for the Travala knees up sometime soon
What other (other than the SMART rewards) ways are there that have been implemented to encourage the usage of AVA on the platform instead of the other many payment options?
can you elaborate on the Key Opinion Leaders? Is this an affiliate marketing program outside of the $20 invite reward?
Travala does already accept several cryptocurrencies as a mean of payment. Do you plan to add GAS at some point?
When do you expect the review giveback program to be put in place and what are the projections on % of people making reviews vs total bookings.
when do you expect beta site to go live?
context: 1/3 reviews can be considered as fake on TripAdvisor. How will you guys handling reviews on your platform. Can you elaborate more about this topic, because it is very vital problem in Travel industry.
I remember business accounts went live during the last update, but this isnt obvious anywhere on the site, is this something you are handling privately at the moment?
Are there more partnerships planned for Q3 that you can't tell us yet?
the commission fee is said to range between 5-10% depending on maturity of the platform. Can you confirm what % the current fee is?
how many employees does Travala now have?
Will you ever get an office with windows?
Has any details been released of the new CTO?
Are qualifying crowdcube contributors still receiving t-shirts and goody bag etc at some point?
when will flight booking will be avalible on travala?
what’s your favorite part of working at Travala?
how would a buyout of Travala affect the tokens?
Any plans to have a bug bountry programs as many crypto project have ,?
You already been approached by one of the big OTA’s for an cooperation or maybe for a business level account?
what would be the primary driver to decrease the required 5.000 token amount to become lvl 5 SMART?
What are the costs to maintain Travala system and how those costs are covered? What are biggest costs?
is there any way to have a sneak peak of the new website  ?
how many employees do you expect to have by end of Q3?
Are you satisfied with the development of travala so far?
if the selected booking date is not available, can the result provide 'next available date'. Or is this already coming?
With NEO’s EcoFund investment, what are Travala.com’s new strategic growth targets?
can we expect greater marketing in terms of adspend once beta comes online in August, or is the marketing campaign going to increase later in Q3 or Q4?
how much does the crypto market dropping effect your model, and are you well prepared for a long crypto winter should that eventuate and how much do you rely on the crypto prices for stability vs getting revenue elsewhere?
do you personally believe that we will be listed on kayak in 2019?
What do u think about NEO blockchain
Will Libra be accepted as a payement method in the far future ?
are you guys attending more events this year?
Can you share something about the plans to boost the smart memberships ?
we’ve seen you guys do great work with BCH, LTC and DASH, has other top 20 coins approached you and showed interest?
Will Travala harness the Seraph ID solution
Does Travala.com have any plans in the future to work together with other NEO ecosystem projects?
In addition to financial assistance, in what other ways will NEO’s EcoFund benefit Travala.com and help it reach its goals? Moving forward, in what capacities will NEO and Travala.com work together? How does it differ from your prior relationship?
Will it be possible one day to buy a smart membership directly with fiat with the nash app like buying a Prime membership on Amazon ?
Is it possible that Travala helps Airbnb to go blockchain?

How Did I Discover Cryptocurrency and Why I Choose BitcoinCash

How Did I Discover Cryptocurrency and Why I Choose BitcoinCash.
One of the first questions always asked in the Crypto sphere is how did you learn about Bitcoin? Then followed up by which coin or coins do you hold?
The answer to this first question is not as easy to answer as you would think. Right before the split between Bitcoin and BitcoinCash I met someone very involved in the community we were discussing how I became a libertarian which naturally lead us to a discussion about economic freedom, Ross Ulbricht and then Bitcoin. The following day I ran home and researched Silk Road and Ross Ulbricht. Five minutes later, I had signed the petition. My interest was piqued, I started to do my own research in regards to Bitcoin. I bought several books but all that did was confuse me more. I started watching YouTube videos and remember thinking to myself “who are these people” and “are they even speaking English” but I kept researching determined to learn about economic freedom, I just couldn’t grasp how someone could gain economic freedom with online money.
Fast forward to the Bitcoin/BitcoinCash fork, I knew this was a big deal but I didn’t know what was going to happen. So I called my friend and set up another time to meet, well this time I was prepared I had my notes laid out from the books I had read and I was pretty proud of myself after all Bitcoin is not easy to understand with words like nodes, Raspberry Pi's (what does pie have to do with economic freedom), miners, QR's, checkpoints, lightning (still waiting) and why only 21 million and do I have to buy a full coin? I mean this list goes on (after all I am much older than the usual crypto enthusiast) little did I know I had already entered the rabbit hole and from the look I received from my friend he knew it. So after 2 days that was it, I needed to get my hands on Bitcoin.
As soon as I got home I joined Coinbase and I saw a few coins listed and thought Bitcoin is really expensive and I can get 4 times the amount with this coin called Litecoin so I put in a buy order for that, Etherum and BitcoinCash. I had never been a huge fan of Social Media but at this time I decided I needed to join Twitter to see what others were experiencing and oh God what a jolt to the senses that was. Everyone tweeting why this and that coin is bad and this person is bad and that person is good, Crypto Twitter can be a shit show especially in the beginning and being new to both Twitter and Crypto my brain was in overload. I followed my friend on Twitter and just started to pay attention to him and basically began stalking his feed and Youtube channel but I never really engaged (I truly felt like a stalker). But I was learning my way around and who did what in their relative fields.
As everyone knows Coinbase can be very frustrating because it seems like forever before you have access to your coins and the whole time I’m thinking what have I done? So a month went by and I finally received an email saying my funds are now available in Coinbase I opened up that app and to my surprise, my money had just quadrupled. I had learned while investing once you make back your initial investment sell that portion and that is exactly what I did! But the damage had been done I was hooked and immediately took that initial investment and bought every altcoin I could get my hands on via Binance, which can seriously do some damage to your wallet.
I still really did not know what to do with Cryptocurrency, there were all these wallets, but why were they needed if all it did was sit there like digital gold. So I started to engage with people on Twitter to discover what others were doing, I didn’t have any followers so outside of a few likes here and there I would never really get any feedback. I asked my friend about this and he started to respond to me and soon after that, others started to respond to me, then I was included in threads and I had my first Crypto Twitter follower, he was no joke and little did I know at that time how much of an influence this person would have in my Twitter and Crypto life. But Crypto Twitter will have to be its own story.
As I started to learn how to navigate my way through Crypto Twitter and began to understand the correct questions to ask I began to get the answers I needed. These questions amounted to where/who accepts crypto and why is this coin better than that coin? The people that came forward were the BitcoinCash community, I couldn’t understand why was it only the BitcoinCash people that would respond to me, after all, there are so many coins out there? But these were the people that had a passion for what they were doing and believed in that passion, from the CEO to the developers down to the end user. It was like a breath of fresh air to find people passionate about rewarding hard work and not caring about who you are and which country you are from along with giving back to communities that are far less fortunate by no fault of their own they just don’t have access to resources that are available to Western Nations, Europe, and Asia. I discovered the philanthropic work was incredible and still to this day I still am overwhelmed by how much the BitcoinCash community does and feel very fortunate to be a part of it.
Downloading wallet after wallet, I discovered some were easy some were difficult and well some were just ridiculous. I started to tag random developers on Twitter and honestly was surprised when they responded to me and offered their help after all these are really busy people why would they take the time to help one person. The reason is simple they want Cryptocurrency to be a success and they understand how difficult it is, especially for an older person who just got her first smartphone 2 years earlier. After learning about the importance of 12-word seed phrases how a QR code works and legacy addresses I now felt comfortable enough to begin introducing people to cryptocurrency and more importantly BitcoinCash. Little did I know how difficult this would be, I mean who doesn’t want money even if it’s free.
After months of interaction on Twitter and other platforms, I decided I needed to do something besides just talking about Crypto I needed to shout it from the rooftops. I desperately wanted to find others around me that I could share my experiences with so I created a Meetup in my area and began talking about it at work with my friends and family I just started telling everyone I ran into have you heard about BitcoinCash? “No” here let me show you” inevitably I started to hear oh that’s for drug dealers or it’s a scam. So now I thought how do I get past this obstacle that CNN and Fox News has put in front of me? I became more determined than ever to beat them at their own game. I had another hurdle to jump, so my path now came to what is an everyday product I can buy with Bitcoincash? Well, there are tons you just have to find them, and since my area of the country is about 10 years behind the rest of the country this was very difficult. But one thing I do a lot is travel and I was about to buy a plane ticket so I found CheapAir.com which accepts BitcoinCash, so I used that and discovered how easy it is, I can literally lay in bed find a flight and/or a hotel and right there without turning on the lights or getting up for my credit card number. What about overcoming only drug dealers use it (which my stepmom throws in my face almost every day) so for Christmas I purchased her some beauty products with BitcoinCash. I am constantly scouring the internet looking for more ways to spend Crypto instead of government-funded cash.
My meetups started out with 2 people 1 of which was my dad to 12 strong and growing (which does not include my dad). That may not seem like many but those 12 people have become strong and confident users of Cryptocurrency and one of them even accepts BitcoinCash for his business.
My story does not end here, and with every day there is a change with some great, some good and some not so good stories. Keep your eyes out for updates to my never ending and exciting Crypto life.

Retailers Around The World That Accept Crypto, From Pizza to Travel

Retailers Around The World That Accept Crypto, From Pizza to Travel

News by Cointelegraph: Jinia Shawdagor
Earlier on, when Bitcoin (BTC) arrived on the scene, most cryptocurrency enthusiasts held on to their coins, as there were only so many places they could be spent. Nowadays, the list of marketplaces and retailers accepting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is significantly larger, providing crypto enthusiasts with more options for making real-world purchases.
After all, with recognizable organizations like Microsoft and Wikipedia now accepting Bitcoin as payment, conversations about Bitcoin and the power of cryptocurrencies are becoming more prominent.
Currently, several fast-food restaurants and coffee shops have started accepting Bitcoin as payment. This will likely provide traction for mass adoption as cryptocurrency payments become increasingly commonplace in day-to-day purchases.
Granted, there are some jurisdictions that do not consider Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency as legal tender. Despite this set back, even big tech companies like Facebook are coming up with payment systems that mimic cryptocurrencies.
Here are some of the leading retailers, merchants and companies that will let you book flights and hotels, buy coffee or pizza, or even go to space with crypto.

Pay for a burger in Germany with crypto

The German branch of fast-food restaurant chain Burger King now claims to accept Bitcoin as payment for its online orders and deliveries, but this is not the first time Burger King has warmed up to Bitcoin as a form of payment.
The company, headquartered in Florida in the United States, had its Russian branch announce in 2017 that it would start accepting Bitcoin payments, but it ultimately did not take off. The global fast-food retailer reports an annual revenue of about $20 billion and serves about 11 million customers around the world. If all its outlets move to accept Bitcoin as payment, cryptocurrency adoption would inevitably spread.

Spend crypto at Starbucks and other places

For crypto payments to gain traction, merchants need to implement systems that enable swift and easy cryptocurrency spending. Starbucks is one of the companies taking advantage of this concept through Flexa, a U.S.-based payment startup that is helping the cafe giant, as well as dozens of other companies, accept cryptocurrency payments.
The company developed an app called Spedn that enables crypto holders to make purchases with merchants like Starbucks. The company’s CEO believes that by making cryptocurrencies spendable in the mainstream, commerce will realize the full benefit of blockchain technology all over the world.
Crypto enthusiasts in Silicon Valley’s Palo Alto might already be familiar with Coupa Cafe for other reasons apart from its coffee and food. Through its partnership with a Facebook software developer, Coupa Cafe has been accepting Bitcoin as payment since 2013.
Reports show that the cafe received a steady stream of Bitcoin revenue as soon as they started implementing crypto payments — a clear sign of how eager its customers were to pay in Bitcoin. Coupa Cafe is among the few physical businesses in Palo Alto that accept Bitcoin at the moment. The cafe owners believe that their collaboration with the Facebook software engineer will create more traction in terms of Bitcoin adoption.

Buy food with crypto

With over 50,000 takeaway restaurants listed on its United Kingdom-based site, OrderTakeaways is one of the surest ways to get a pizza paid for with crypto delivered to your doorstep. The company has been accepting Bitcoin payments for online takeout orders since 2018. And other similar services include the Korean platform Shuttledelivery as well as German-based service Lieferando and its subsidiaries in several other countries.
Apart from online orders, crypto can also be spent at a regular Subway restaurants. As early as 2013, several Subway branches started accepting Bitcoin as payment. Now, for a fraction of a Bitcoin, a Subway sandwich can be purchased at select restaurants.

Pay with Bitcoin to tour space

Besides buying food and inexpensive, day-to-day items with crypto, a trip to space can now be bought with Bitcoin. That’s right. Richard Branson’s space tourism company, Virgin Galactic, started accepting Bitcoin as payment as far back as 2013. Although Branson’s predicted date for the first commercial flight has been pushed back several times, the company achieved its first suborbital space flight last year. Perhaps soon, people will be able to tour the moon on crypto’s dime.

Buy jewelry with Bitcoin

A brick-and-mortar American jewelry company called Reeds Jewelers accepts Bitcoin for both its physical and online stores. What’s more, if a purchase is worth more than $25,000, the company provides free armored delivery for safety. Other jewelry companies accepting Bitcoin include Blue Nile Jewelry, Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry and Coaex Jewelry, to name a few.
A big advantage of purchasing large ticket items — like a diamond — with crypto is that it makes moving around large amounts of money cheap and effortless. Reports show that more Silicon Valley investors are buying jewelry with Bitcoin. Last year, Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry reported a 20% growth in crypto transactions, leading to a boost in the company’s sales. The company has been accepting Bitcoin since 2014.

Send and redeem gift cards with Bitcoin

Gyft, a digital platform that allows users to buy, send and redeem gift cards, was one of the first merchants enabling cryptocurrency adoption to gain traction in the real world. The mobile gift card app allows Bitcoin to be used to purchase gift cards from several retailers, some of which include Burger King, Subway, Amazon and Starbucks. The company has also partnered with popular crypto exchange Coinbase to enable users to buy gift cards from their Coinbase wallets.

Travel and pay in Bitcoin

If a traveler only has Bitcoin at their disposal, the following merchants will gladly offer services in exchange for it. TravelbyBit, a flight and hotel booking service, accepts cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Binance Coin and Litecoin (LTC) as payment.
With a network of over 300 crypto-friendly merchants, the platform is one of the biggest supporters of crypto adoption. TravelbyBit can also alert you to upcoming blockchain events in order to interact with other crypto enthusiasts from around the globe. Other platforms to book flights with crypto include Destinia, CheapBizClass, CheapAir, AirBaltic, Bitcoin.Travel and ABitSky, among others.

Use crypto to book a five-star hotel in Zurich

If ever one finds themselves traveling to Zurich Switzerland, either BTC or Ether (ETH) can be used to pay for a stay in a five-star hotel in Zurich. In May 2019, five-star hotel and spa Dodler Grand announced that it will start accepting Bitcoin and Ether as payment.
The hotel has partnered with a fintech firm Inacta as well as Bity (a Swiss-based crypto exchange) to facilitate the payment and conversion of crypto to fiat money. The hotel boasts an amazing view of the Swiss landscape among other enticing amenities that come with a five-star hotel.

Pay for electronics and more with crypto

For all the gadget lovers, there are a bunch of platforms that allow electronic purchases with cryptocurrency. Newegg, for instance, is an electronic retail giant that uses BitPay to process payments made with digital currencies. Even though one cannot get refunds for Bitcoin purchases, Newegg has a good reputation for quality items.
Plus, the company boasts its being among the first merchants to support cryptocurrency adoption. Other platforms for gadget junkies include Eyeboot (a platform that sells crypto mining rigs in exchange for crypto), Microsoft, FastTech and Alza (a U.K.-based online store that sells phones and beauty products).

An ever-expanding list

It seems clear that more retailers are warming up to the idea of accepting cryptocurrencies. There is still a long way to go before full adoption can be achieved, but many companies have nevertheless benefited from being early adopters. Despite the volatile price movements of cryptocurrencies, all evidence points to a future cashless society that uses digital currencies, and crypto is leading the way.

Centralised No Crypto Allowed: Who Benefits From Crypto Bans?

https://preview.redd.it/d77e8moc5ek11.jpg?width=2560&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cfe7a1b5627e6a5eb258fd62f49c6e06f217756b
Russian police confiscated 22 crypto ATMs, owned by Bbfpro. These crypto selling machines were installed at restaurants and stores in 9 Russian cities. The confiscation was based upon the Central bank orders
Great move for the country with the stagnant economy, that is struggling under heavy sanctions. Instead of embracing crypto, why not strangle it?
The logic here is pretty obvious — for Russian Central bank all cryptocurrencies look like another route for capital flight. People don't want to keep their money in Russia — people buy crypto and send it abroad. The only thing that the Central bank doesn't take into equations is that people that have enough capital to move it out of country, can do it without any restrictions. The total outflow of capital from Russia in 2018 is $17.3 billion. That's too much for Bitcoin, and this money isn't the ordinary pillow savings, rather it's the capital of ultra-wealthy Russians.
Thus confiscating Bitcoin ATMs won't solve this problem, but it gives a clear signal to all crypto business: you're not welcomed in Russia. Would Russia lose anything by allowing crypto activity on its territory? Or does it have anything to lose at all? The influx of new foreign capital to its economy is low. The country should look for new ways to attract capital to its economy, develop new sectors, otherwise it will be left behind, being only the exporter of resources, like gas and oil. Russia should try to get every single dollar available for its economy by showing its friendliness to investors and businesses.

Status quo

Let's see how some other countries benefit by embracing or banning crypto.

The USA

This country has a mixed stance towards crypto — paying with crypto, buying something with crypto isn’t prohibited. There was even one instance of a bail set in cryptocurrency by a judge. You can set a shop there and sell your goods for crypto only — absolute freedom. There is another story with ICOs. Only registered ICOs are allowed, thus many crypto startups don’t accept investments from US citizens to evade problems with US law. But the general openness of US market attracts many fintech companies, as they know that there won’t be any problems if they act honestly. And by the way, there are more than 2,000 crypto ATMs installed on its territory.

Malta

Malta is becoming a paradise island for crypto and blockchain startups, ICOs and exchanges. The government of Malta, its Prime Minister and Finance Minister, seem excited about the possibilities that are open to Malta after embracing blockchain. Even Binance moved to Malta after being extorted by regulations from Japan — and that means that Binance will pay taxes. The tax rate in Malta is 5%, Binance raked $200 million in profits recently, that’s $10 million of taxes for Malta. And that’s only one company! Looks like Malta will get its piece of pie from emerging industry.

Iran

Iran has even more harsh sanctions imposed on it, than Russia. Its economy is falling hard, because it’s oil-dependent. Iranian citizens buy a lot of Bitcoin recently in the attempt to save their money from inflation. The Iranian government has a negative stance toward crypto, because it withdraws money from its economy. However, the government wants to issue its own crypto and use it in international trade, so we can call it ambiguous stance, and it looks like it won’t lead to any significant improvement of their economy.

Thailand

Thai government also doesn’t allow any newcomer conduct his ICO right away in its jurisdiction, but also it has a clear set of rules for those willing to operate or start an ICO on its territory. By following the law, showing its business plan, and allowing an audit of its activity, any company can start an Initial Coin Offering in Thailand. Also, the use of cryptocurrencies isn’t restricted at all, it also has crypto ATMs.

Taiwan

Taiwan isn’t restricting anything in its country, its official stance is “neutral”, its government decided that it shouldn’t miss this opportunity. Thus it attracts startups to Taiwan, creating new jobs and benefiting its economy.

All in all

Okay, we looked at some examples. The pattern is clear: you show your benevolence, you get money. If you don’t need them, you decide. So the question is: does Russia wants to be more like the USA, Malta, and Thailand or like Iran?
The question is still open.

Daily Performances
The markets generally are now showing signs of recovery.Today's above average bounce surely marks revived investor interest, and leaves the cryptocurrency printing a 36 percent gain since the low set two days ago. Technical Analysis - BTC Bitcoin was seen up, with some gains over 3%, after several down days. BTC/USD upside seen, however running into resistance ahead of the $6500 area with various spikes of volatility. At this time we are waiting to see if the $6,000 level holds or if it is broken. Breaking below it would be a very negative signal and we would expect lower prices in the $4,000-$5,000 range.

Daily Performances
BTC appears to have stabilized but "risk off" still seems to be the main theme in peripherals as the weekly performance of most large cap coins ranges from -10% to -20% versus unchanged for only BTC, XLM and LSK. This can be even more clearly seen with monthly performance of BTC -6% versus ETH -40%. Daily Performances
Several attempts to push BTC convincingly below $6,000 has failed. The broad market has seen a temporary recovery of sentiment that has also reached the altcoin space. Having said that, technicals indicate further short term weakness and Emerging Market contagion could potentially still cause "risk off" activity in the crypto space.

Daily Performances
Both sentiment and technicals look extremely weak. Emerging Market contagion coming from Turkey seems be creating similar "flight to safety" dynamics within the crypto market as can be seen by BTC dominance rising to 53% an ETH/BTC dropping to 0.045. However, we have yet to see enough safe haven buying to raise the overall market cap of crypto assets. For BTC/USD, $5,800-$6,000 level would be critical to hold for the short term, otherwise indicating further drops.

Technical Analysis - BTC
At current spot prices, Bitcoin bulls are doing a pretty nice job preventing further depreciation. Nevertheless, despite their efforts, prices are still trending inside Aug 10 bear candlestick and are more than $500 away from breaching and even closing the main trigger line at $6,800. For now, we shall retain a bear outlook.

General info and list of exchanges for TRIPBIT

Description: Disrupting the 7.6 Trillion Dollar Travel Industry with Blockchain Travel & Tourism is one of the worlds largest industries, contributing an impressive 7.6 trillion US dollars to the global economy in 2016. This massive industry predominately operates through fiat currency and hence is subject to an array of problems including extortionate foreign exchange rates, transaction delays, and double bookings. So, let’s bring efficiency, low fees, and trust to the Travel & Tourism industry with blockchain technology.
Global Travel Platform TripBit will build a platform that will revolutionise the Travel & Tourism industry through blockchain technology. TripBit will create an ‘All-In-One’ solution by integrating three core businesses — Flights, Hotels, and Events, onto a single blockchain platform. By integrating Flights, Hotels, and Events services onto a single platform, travellers will not have to waste time navigating a plethora of websites searching for the best deals, and hence TripBit can be considered an “All-In-One” solution while aiming to provide the cheapest prices available on the market with blockchain technology. Additionally, TripBit will continue to seek to expand its services, with tour, itineraries, airport pick-up and delivery, and car rental services at the top of their list.
Dapp P2P Marketplace TripBit will also build a second platform, one that will offer a market for travellers to buy and sell their tickets, this will be available through a Decentralised Application (Dapp) powered by the Ethereum blockchain. This Dapp will be a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) marketplace to facilitate the decentralised transaction of tickets related to travel (i.e. events, tourism, etc). The purpose of this platform is to empower ticket holders who would otherwise not be entitled to a refund, and those who desire to resell and purchase discounted tickets with no intermediaries, while still maintaining security and of course minimal fees and instant transactions due to the underlying blockchain technology.
The TripBit Token (TBT) and Other Payment Options In order to fuel the TripBit platform, TripBit will be launching the TripBit Token (TBT) as a new from of currency. However, payment options are important because not everyone owns cryptocurrency. In recognition of this. TripBit will hence cater to both cryptocurrency and fiat payment options, maximising its target market and revenue streams. All major currencies will be supported on TripBit including TripBit Tokens (TBT), Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), and fiat (USD, AUD, EUR, GBP, etc). Through this business model, TripBit will also contribute to the mass-adoption of cryptocurrency by exposing everyday travellers to the benefits of blockchain technology as a form of currency.
